The variety of rocks here is quite amazing,
sitting as it does at the North East end of
the Highland boundary fault.
Even a dullish evening can't reduce their impact.

I agree with the others, this is a great photo with lovely colours and tones in the foreground rocks and a fantastic sky as a backdrop. The blurred movement of the water complements the sky but contrasts with and emphasises nicely the rocks and cliffs. V

I would probably have passed by this location on a grey evening thinking that there was nothing to photograph here. I find this to be a powerful image. I particularly like the way in which the colour of the foreground rock is echoed in the rocks and cliffs into the distance.
