Lentil as Anything cafe.

#17
This cafe, one of the tenants at the Abbotsford Convent, has vegetarian meals for which you pay what you feel the food is worth (and I guess what you can afford). It is an unusual concept, but seems to be very successful.

What an interesting concept! The cafe looks very inviting and as a life-long vegetarian, sounds like just the right place!! V

Cool idea.....all I can afford is $1.00. Hmmm...maybe they'd let me lick the bowls? :)

Great concept. They have something like that at the Cafeteria of the Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple not so far away from us. All you can eat vegetarian buffet and you leave a contribution.

And you can order anything you want... as long as it's lentils. :)

I have seen this kind of initiatives in Europe.
For some reasons I never had a meal here, but I'm also not often at that side of town!
