Everybody Wins 11_22_05.jpg

Admit it, you've all played a little strip poker at one time or another during your lives. The good part is no matter how the hands played out; you always won. I can't think of a better game.

Wanda, you are breath taking beautiful ! However, many of us would like
to see you after you've lost another hand or two in the "poker game" hahaha!

Hope you give us some great pics throughout the upcoming holiday season !

Oh and a "Happy Belated Birthday" to you.. you look forever young !

How did you trigger the 3 speedlights?
Wm. Bates26-Nov-2005 14:46
Tony, the distance was 8 to 10 feet. Lighting was a Canon 420 flash on a boom with a small umbrella above and behind for a hair light. The the key light was a 550 into a 60" umbrella about 4 feet in front and to her right and a 550 into a 60" umbrella about 10 feet to her left. There was a two stop difference between the key light and the fill.

Would it be possible to explain how you setup the lighting. What flash or flashes used and position in relation to Wanda. Just out of curiosity how far are you from Wanda with the camera as I have found out that the 20D does not give distance data
Shame on canon

Same to you, Wanda. I figured you would be at one of the girls.....relax and enjoy. You have told me about Brandy's cooking....the pie won't be a big issue one way or the other......you will all eat very well, I am sure. Happy thanksgiving to Bill, too. Post a picture of the table, maybe? Have a wonderful day with your kids......

Steve,

The riverboat trip sounds like fun! However, you do not owe us a dinner. It was our pleasure. It would seem to Me that WE owe you a book! (grin) Thanksgiving will BE at Brandy's house again this year. Yipee! She gets to deal with most the cooking and all the mess. I only have to bake an apple pie, and this year I am cheating and using canned filling! (Grin) My apple pie doesn't hold a candle to Brandy's pumkin cheesecake, so why bother to go to all the trouble and effort of a "real" pie?

I wish you and all your loved ones a very happy day!

Wanda is holding all the cards...
Wm. Bates23-Nov-2005 16:44
I think most that know Wanda would go with "both" and much more. Wanda is well...Wanda... a true force to be reckoned with. She is an amazing woman on so many levels.

Wanda is one of those rare individuals that really can just be a one named person ... like Madonna, Cher and Prince (???lol)

She is "Wanda"

You know, I've seen these images here for some time and I have to say that your wife is a very attractive lady. Even more so that she's a mother, clearly a real person, and it shows. She's just got presence in these images; true poise. Perhaps it's your relationship coming through, perhaps she's just cool or both. Whatever it is, these are images I always look forward to. Great work and best wishes from MI.

Chuck, I toy on occasion with trading her in on a new model; but, Wanda is a classic and I could never part with her. Plus, I still haven't captured that certain something that I find so facinating...I'm not sure I ever can. But, I'll keep trying.

Dont you ever get tired of posting pictures of your wife??

Geez I certainly hope not!!!! LOL
Another great shot Bill... :)

Personally Bill, a couple of more hands might have made for a better picture. Hahaha J/K! You have a real knack for making all of your images classy.

I'm not sure, but the look in Wanda's eyes says she has something up
her sleeve, ah, err, mmm, never mind.
Guest 23-Nov-2005 12:24
Hmmm. If Wanda wins then the result is Bill as depicted on 10/20/05? Maybe that is why my bride (of several decades) will not play the game with me since I resemble that (and she resembles Wanda...arent Bill & I lucky??
