Browning Superposed 08_26_05.jpg

Now this is how to do a PAD photo. I was at work and a fellow PBaser came in with his camera (a nice 20D with a 24-70f/2.8L). I asked if I could borrow it to snap my PAD photo and could he please email me the image. Thanks Fitz!!! You saved my bacon today.

The gun is a nice little Browning made by their custom shop. This one runs about $20,000.

here is his photo of me at work. Good use of light I think..but the subject ain't too pretty ;^)

A beautiful piece. I’ll take two of them. Uhhh, … waitaminute. I’d better ask Gerie first. Gold inlay, hand engraving, Italian Burl wood, … stunning!

If you come to England Bill, you can borrow my 20D.............you could take a few shots of Adrienne.........corrrrrrrrr!!!

Thanks, Bill. The camera really does a great job at high ISO, doesn't it? A 48x34 print, framed, would actually look great in Cabella's gun library, IMO. Maybe you could get yet a few more hours with them doing photos for all their stores? You don't want any time off at all, do you? Just kidding....but the big print would look sensational in that setting.

Beautiful gun

Bill, teach me. Why do these weapons rate such a high cost? I'm assuming the engraving is done by hand.

Steve, the image was pretty clean at its original size. You could see a little noise at full size but how often do you make 48x34 inch prints????

Amazing image for ISO 1600. Is there noise on the full size image?
