Storms a Brewing04_07_05

It has been a while since I have done a nature abstract. These are Wanda's trees. In a few weeks those trees will be covered in new leaves.

Today started nice, warm and sunny. What you would call your perfect Rocky Mountain Spring day. But as so often is true in the Rockies, spring weather can change in minutes. We have a storm blowing in and tomorrow we're expecting rain and snow.

Here is another more normal landscape... a black and white world in color

Very nice. The kind of photo you can study for a long time. I can't decide if it would look better as a horizontal or vertical. In any case, it would look great blown up nice and big and hung on a wall.

Very nice - I like how the trees are interacting with each other... as if they're facing off or something. The tree on the bottom left particularly has a lot of personality!

Interesting perspective, I think the B&W treatment helps the mood enormously.

Looks like a scene worthy of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Nice.
