Wanda03_01_05.jpg

A few people commented on yesterday's photo that a closer shot with Wanda drinking might be a better image. You were right. I think this is a much stronger image. Thank you all for the input.

We are also into the last 30 days of our little project. It sure has been fun.

what I remember from this shot was that it was difficult for Me to not drink ALL the prop before Bill had the image he wanted. (grin) I selected a pretty burgandy colored shirt to match the wine, just in case there was enough light to show the shirt and as it turned out, the image Bill liked the most was one with My shirt color showing just a little. (happy smile) It was always so difficult trying to decide what to wear for some of these shoots. Perhaps that is why I ended up naked in some of them. (giggle)

Yea, that's the stuff!
Great shot!!

This shot intensifies the previous one and makes it seem more intimate.

This is very nice. The red in the wine and the hint of red in Wanda's sweater are quite nice.

Nicely done Bill and Wanda. I'll have to agree with Gary B's comment. The only thing I would have suggested is that Wanda close her eyes to savor the flavor...or maybe they are, but the reflections I pull off of her eyes might suggest they're open.
Cheers!

Bill, I do like this one much better than the first. I think the composition (balance) of the shot is better, and I agree it could be a cover for a wine magazine. Very professional looking...........once again the strength of this project is the great variety of styles you and Wanda have presented. Professional, candid, funny, sexy, art shots (love Wanda in the egg), teasing, domestic, etc. The breadth of a complete woman. This has been a great project, but I will be happy for you (and Wanda) in a month when its done. But I will miss my daily look! Want of move on to a PAD landscape? Wildlife would be to hard...........anyway, thanks again for all your work and talent.

I like this a lot. If I were to suggest anything, it might be a tighter crop to around the lip/glass area. The wine and Wanda's attire compliment one another nicely.

yes, i agree with Lou. Playing with perspective, positive and negative space etc..i like the siloette with touch of color very much

I prefer the other picture, not for the quality or idea, but for the entire view and capture. The idea on this one is good but it looks very classic, more like a magazine cover or a spam page. I would have tried different positions of capture and I ask my self if a capture from 3/4 back had not made a better shot then full side view. If Wanda turns somewhat more to the right and thus seing the glass in a 3/4 front to rear position and some of her hair from the back at right of the picture, I think it would look better in an artistic point of view. This might be an idea or a point of view only and is worth a trial to my opinion. All in all, Bill, this series of shots are good looking and are quite often used in commercial photography for publicity layouts. I could see this one quite good as a cover of a wine catalog.

Much better than the other image. Very well done. I like the lighting.
