Wanda11_17_04.jpg

It is Wanda's Weird Wacky Wednesday again. Last week we did a trash bag dress. This week we stuck with the plastic theme and made a top and skirt out of plastic wrap. To give the outfit, that little extra something, we added lights. Too bad we didn't have lights with white wires. Of course, when you start at 10:00 p.m. you go with what you have.

I really had a fun time with this one! I don't know why, but I really liked the way My hair turned out in this picture. With My hair, I never know what it will do, it's like it has a mind of it's own. Every day can be a 'bad hair' day for Me. Oh, and I liked all the expressions on My face this shoot too! Some days just seem to work better than others when it comes to getting a good smile out of Me.

Absolutely gorgeous smile in the third frame. Also love the lighting Bill. This is one utility I would go in debt for.

How fortunate your friends are to to be able to share life with you both. Keep smiling, keep shooting, keep living your lives to the fullest.

rthawk, lighting here was pretty simple. Metering was a little trickier. There hair light was on a boom stand above and slightly behind Wanda by about 3 feet. Fill light was moved for each pose. If you look at the catch light reflection in the eye and shadows you can tell where the fill light was placed. I shot this aperture priority; so, the camera meters for ambient light. The lights in the studio were off so the only light was from the Christmas lights under the plastic wrap. Hair light was 1/3 stop below the Christmas lights and the fill another stop and half below the hair light. The background is just the black sheet with very little light spilling onto it.

Nice Shot Bill...

I like the multiple images...Like Wanda vacuming...

Would like to see your lighting setup for this one...

Overhead light really hot...and looks like single light source in front...

So how did you get the seperation of Wanda from the backround?

You two still are coming up with unique shots...Wonderful...

It's interesting that Wanda's dimples on her cheeks show up more in smiles where she doesn't show her teeth. Love the shot on the right.

Cool idea, I like the 3 images in one photo.
Well done!

(Without PaD I'll bet you never would have never done this)

did this have any inspiration from the movie we watched this evening? :)
With the lights that is.

Jeanne,
I am sure you can come up with an outstanding image along the same theme. Given more time to really shape and design and accessorize, I think you could come up with a fantastic outfit! I will be anxiously waiting to see your creation.
