This is a four frame stitch. Downsizing this much really hurts the image. It has amazing detail full resolution.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Beautiful shot Bill, one of those lucky years and days when both the colors and the weather were great and you were at the right place at the right time.

Yes this will be available for sale as a print but not until November or December. I took booth raw and jpeg files as I shot this. This was from the jpegs. I'm waiting for CaptureOne to come out with an update that will support the 20D so I can properly convert the raw files. From them I can get a much better print.

Veronika, It isn't heaven. It's Wyoming and I figure that's pretty close.

Tony, the 20D is pretty great. I shot over two thousand images without a hitch. Unlike the 10D I shot all those images without running up against the buffer one single time. For me that means no more waiting for the camera. Shadow detail is well preserved. I haven't measured it but would say the 20D has more than a stop advantage in dynamic range. The 20D never seems to blow a highlight it just gets so close it is on the verge of blowing. Overall it is a much better tool than the 10D and that is saying a lot.

Bill, What do you think of the 20D after your trip? I bought one last week to replace my Digital Rebel and I look forward to your comments every day.
