Wanda08_01_04a.jpg

Wanda and Wes climbed 11750 ft. Mount Timpanogos today. They started hiking at 2:00 am this morning. I met them at the bottom of the trail about noon today. It is a 16 or 17 mile hike and Wanda was pretty beat. This was 5 minutes from the bottom. Here she is at the bottom. I didn't think she was going to be moving from this spot for sometime http://www.pbase.com/image/32059483

Here are some photos Wes took during the hike. Another group just below the summit at dawn http://www.pbase.com/image/32056865 and Wanda watching the sunrise http://www.pbase.com/image/32069011 Wanda by a waterfall along the trail http://www.pbase.com/image/32068963

What a GREAT hike that was! A painful LONGGGGGGG one, as you can tell from the look on My face! But a wonderful one I'll repeat as often as My body will allow!

Okay Wanda, you're a better man than I, as it were -- such a hike would
do more than "cripple me"... it would, I'm sure be my final walk. So kudos
to you; that's impressive.

Wes, you didn't kill Me (cripple Me maybe), you were a perfect gentleman (except for when you snapped that pic of Me going tiddle) going at a pace I could keep up with. I will go hiking with you again anytime!

I hope I didn't kill Wanda! She won't want to go hiking again with me! hehe

Extremely impressive, Wanda. I will now stop whining when my alarm goes off at 6 a.m. to workout. Kind of humbling.. really

Most women don't look that good out of the shower, let alone after a long hike like that.
You are the hike-master Wanda.
