Wanda08_01_04.jpg

Wanda at the end of an 10 hour climb. I didn't think she was going to move for hours. I did get her to the car and home...she is sound asleep. I won't wake her.

The ridge in the background is not the top. You go over that ridge and then hike another few miles and a couple thousand feet higher to the summit.

Here she is five minutes from the bottom http://www.pbase.com/image/32059490

And a photograph by Wes just under the summit at dawn http://www.pbase.com/image/32056865

Mt. Everest? No way! I enjoy difficult hikes, NOT technical climbs! I'll let the thrill seekers tackle Everest, I am just happy to enjoy the mountains in My own backyard.

No wonder she is in such incredible shape.
Has she considered Mt. Everest?
