"I don't like spiders and snakes. And that ain't what it takes to love me, like I wanna be loved by you." OK, for Wanda that isn't really true. She likes spiders and snakes.

She found this little Rubber Boa (it isn't a toy...that is what it is really called) while hiking. So we had to get a quick photo before turning it loose.

I remember when I found this little fella! I had been pushing Myself real hard to make it up the trail faster than I had on My previoius hike. I finally needed a rest to catch My breath and prevent the cardiac arrest I thought was sure to come! This little guy came slithering by as if to say "hello" or to at least make fun of Me for struggling so hard to make My way up the steep and rocky slope. He didn't seem to object to being handled and I just HAD to share him My friends and family. Besides, I knew he would make a great "prop" for our PAD project. He didn't complain one bit about being tucked inside My back pack for the journey home. I promised him I would turn him loose in the exact same spot where I found him. He was very cooperative and seemed to love posing for the camera. It didn't take long for Bill to get the shot he wanted. And as promised, I hiked My butt back to the very spot where I found him and turned him loose. Maybe I will see him again this summer when I resume My summer hikes. (smiling at the thought)

I like snakes, but not spiders. Geez, Wanda looks beautiful even with reptiles hanging off her, lol! Beautiful, guys.

OMG, I remember that song!! And I didn't much care for spiders and snakes either. Nice one Wanda....(Bill too!) Perfect shot, really, so well done for a "grab" shot during a hike!
