Wanda05_28_04.jpg

Another late night and quick photo. I really need to get some sort of studio set up for these photos. The little shop lights from Home Depot are a pain to hang and try to really control. Also, it is time for some sort of background besides an off white wall. Maybe next month we will get setup to do this right.

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
1/20s f/2.8 at 51.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

This was an easy picture to pose for, but I remember Bill being frustrated with the lights. I think he made it seem more difficult than it was just so I would relent and agree to spending the money on "studio" type lights. (GRIN)

You are both awesome! And I thank you both for this project! I look forward to this everyday, and seeing your personalities pop in make it even more fun!!

I'm laughing my A&& off at the commentary by you two in the comments!! You guys are hilarious. Wanda, my hat's off to you (or shirt?) for being SO brave to do this project. Bill, you get accolades for turning out fab photos. Both of you are awesome :D

Now Waiiiiiiiittttt just a minute here! It was My idea to take a picture of Me everyday, that is true, BUT it was BILL's idea to post them on his site! What's a wife to do when her hubby is consumed with his camera? I was wise enough to know if I still wanted to hold his attention I would have to step in front of the *&%#! camera instead of being jealous of all the attention his passion for photography was stealing from ME! (grin)

This PAD project has given Me a chance to blow the dust off all My lingerie and actually wear it from time to time! I might even have to make Bill go buy Me some new ones. Now THAT will be romantic.

Thanks Steven,

Now let me give you a glimpse at my reality. It is more like' "Wanda don't move while I adjust this light. Ouch, damn I just burned my*#$%* finger. You moved damn it mutter mutter."

Wanda says, "I can't hold this f'in position my body doesn't turn that way. Just take the damn picture. Oh geez, my makeup is melting." "This such a pain in my ass. I'm done. No way I'm going to do this again. Two months is long enough."

I say, "We'll it was your idea. Dang it you moved again, stop wiggling we're gonna have motion blur. I'm not a quitter so shut-up and smile."

At that point it is usually some sort of finger gesture and we take pictures.

Yeah it is keeping the romance alive in our lives ;^)

William,

Look on the bright side here. You are the one who gets to spend an hour or so looking at your beautiful wife, scantily dressed, for an hour or more every day. There are many men in this world who struggle just to get a glimpse of this same thing everyday. I would keep the shop lights to add some romance to your life!!!!

Joseph, thank you for the compliment.

I really don't think the photos will get much better with studio lights; but, they will help make things quicker, easier and more consistent. The shop lights do a pretty good job; but, they are hot and awkward. Now we may spend an hour or more just moving lights to get the right look. Then more time trying to get them balanced and getting the exposure right. I just need something more consistent and adjustable.

Now, here is my short range plan. I'm going to get two Canon 550EX flashes, a ST-E2 transmitter. These will work with my 420EX. Add a couple small stands, umbrellas and shoe mounts and I'll have a small, light and portable setup.
