Wanda05_25_04.jpg

This was just playing with my new Canon 24-70 f/2.8L and it wasn't meant to be Wanda's picture of the day. BTW this is one nice and sharp lens.

But, I just had to post this throw away because at first glance it's OK. Then when you look close it is really bad. First mistake, while trying out the lens wide open at f/2.8 Rolly ends up out of the Depth of Field and not in focus. Second problem, Pepper was distracted by a robin that flew into the tree and is looking out of frame. Third strange looking problem is the arm. I'm sure glad we had the help of "Thing" that arm in the box from the Adamms Family holding Pepper back. Well at least Wanda looks good :^)

All nitpicking aside, I thought this picture turned out pretty good. It could have been a lot better, but all things considered, I like it!

sorry about "the hand" but If I didn't hang on to "Pepper" she would have bolted after the little robin that insisted on teasing her just when we were trying to take a picture!

Helloooo from Reggie

I like Wanda and the dog at her side but the dog in the foreground I'm not sure about as he's a little too soft? I'm OK with the hand though. On the whole I like the shot!

You're right, the hand is very distracting. Luckly, Wanda's looks overcomes this flaw.

Look, a couple of mans best friends, oh and a couple of dogs too! Looks like Rolly's back!
