I think this will be the last photo working with a flashlight for awhile. It was fun now it is time to try something else. Where shall we go with this..hmmm?

Yea. If you would have lifted your face just a little this shot would have been better... Still, it's a great picture. VERY SEXY

I never really liked this image. Probably because I had come home from a long day at work in a cranky mood.

Good lord, again.

OK, I have to take the blame on this one....Bill tried like hell to get Me to lift My face so it would be lit better but I was in a mean, cranky mood that night and I didn't want to subject any of you to the sour expression that surely would have been there! And that night I was too lazy to go fix My make-up and trust Me, you don't want to see Me with no make-up! :-)

Dennis, no shadow/highlight work done here in photoshop. It is not needed for this kind of photo taken in a dark room with the subject painted with a flashlight. Shot RAW and converted with C1LE. Minor curves adjustment, color adjustment, crop, and resize is it for photoshop work. The pose and the rose were her idea and one must give in to the model sometimes it helps to keep peace at home and I rather like it.

i too think you overdid it with shadowing stuff in photoshop. i know flaslight lighting is a pain, but i would steer clear of notoriously puritan setups too... shadows, roses... but thats just me. i like your miata day candid shot and liked the mountain shot where she discovered something, those truly rock!

What a beauty.

It's beautiful overall, but the lighting and/or shadows on the face aren't very flattering. All of the face is in shadow except the nose. Personally, I'd like it better if all of the face was in shadow or if a little more of the face was lit - not brightly or uniformly lit, but just enough that a little more of the contour of the face showed up. I like the way the lighting worked everywhere else, though.

I have been watching your photos for sometime and these are some of the best that you have done. The lighting affect is fantastic!

Love how the rose is so well lit. Great!

Well, don't give up the flashlight too quickly. After all, it takes a lot of
work to get a good quality of light like this by using other sources. In any
event, a good image you made here.
