What some people do for fun. There are days when it is good to be the photographer and days when it is good to be a participant. Today was a good day to be the photographer. I'm not jumping off a 50 foot rock wall with only a little rope to keep me from going splat.

Isleman. . . .. skydiving tomorrow? . . . I don't think so! . . . well, MAYBE I would do that, IF someone who really knew what they were doing was going to just let me ride along with them like I've seen others do. Maybe for my 80th birthday.

I hadn't really planned on doing any rappelling, I was just going to go watch the kids do it. Thus the footwear. But my Keens turned out to have enough grip that I could easily climb up the rocks to the top and they held just fine on the descent. Lucky for me, Brandy had a spare elastic to secure my hair out of the way. We learned on a previous rappelling incident that long hair and sliding down ropes don't mix! That's one of the things I like about me, I can be spontaneous from time to time and just go do something crazy!
