Also photographed during most (or all?) of the Apollo missions (the Messier twins in close-up, as seen from the orbiting CSMs and their SIM-bay cameras).
Stefan, your image of the Messier twins is a VERY special one, because none of the Apollo missions came back with photographs of it during local afternoon-light!
(all the Apollo photographs show the twins during the morning light, and some of them at noon).
