When we made it to the Grand Canyon, which I had looked forward to for months, I found myself mildly disappointed in two things: 1) we got to spend less than an hour there (not including the IMAX movie we saw), and 2) the smoke from a fire (started by lightning) on the North Rim created a haze over everything that partially spoiled the view. You can see the smoke in the background here. Nevertheless, the Grandest of Canyons was a magnificent sight to behold.
