I grew up in Santa Rosa, CA just north of San Francisco. Some
of my most vivid memories of San Francisco are of the fog literally rolling
in over the hills north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the area known as the
Marin Headlands. While vacationing in northern California in August we were
driving north over the bridge just as the fog began rolling in over the
hills. I pulled off the road and took this shot just in time before
everything was shrouded in the fog.
