Rick,
Excellent interpretation turning the horizon 90 deg ccw. Makes for an extremely dramatic image. As a fellow diver I'm well aware of the ease of disorientation one can experience when you are pushing the survival envelope in water, and this truly illustrates that.

Wonderful and perfect composition! All is present, and the expression of the surfer is eloquent - the effort in fear - in front of a moving waterwall. BW give a graphic force.
