Arctic Tern

Iceland

Arctic Tern, captured at the Nes Golf Club in Iceland. This is an amazing bird, it virtually circles the globe every year. During winter they go as far as the Antarctic. Very agressive bird and keeps unwanted visitors away by diving into their heads.

Absolutely gorgeous images!

Very nice photo. - Good pose, sharpness and colours. The fish in it's beak adds heaps to it's quality. Too bad about the tip of the wing though, but still an excellent capture.
