Now to all of you music buffs, this will sound quite odd but music has not been a part of my life for many, many years.

When my children were young, I would listen to music on the radio.
I would also listen to music to and from work in the car and it was not until recently that I started to tune in again to the music of the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

I guess life just got in the way and it took a back seat to everything else, but now it makes me happy to return to hear those favorite tunes again.

I have this radio that sits on the counter in the kitchen... an estate sale find and
it reminds me of many years ago when we would stop at the local diner for a bite to eat and put our money in to hear some favorite songs at the table.
How times have changed!

And by the way... the big hand... it is actually part of my collection of molds to make surgical gloves.
