My oldest daughter has developed a love for quilting and belongs to a local quilting guild.
Though this is not one of her quilts, the members are active in presenting their work and on this particular day, they had projects to teach children the joys of quilting.

As a young girl, my daughter learned to sew when she would sneak socks out of my drawer and make puppets out of them.
