Charlie spots an alligator as he is getting ready to launch his boat.
We grab our cameras and tripods. At first I didn't see it.
Thought I was looking at a tire tread floating in the water and then I saw the eye looking at me.
Doug decides he needs to get a bit closer to get the shot, so he puts on his "swamp-wading" Dollar Store shoes to get a little closer and starts to walk in the water.
The alligator is very still... watching!
