A couple of years ago, this was a nesting hole for a couple of Rainbow Lorrikeets, then the bees moved in. This is about 20ft off the ground.
They have built a new nest above this one too.

So good to see them in action. We have one too, but i don't have your lens & therefore not able to get a shot. We also managed to find a native bee hive that we knew was on our land somewhere among the timber...that to us is a real bonus :>)
