Great shot Kal. I think what we can't see in the foto is also frightening!!

Got a dangerous look to it

It's funny our in the cover of the night things seem more dangerous... :) I was looking at what people wrote for this image and they all seem to be in awe at your bravery for being there taking the shot... Hummm... I don't know if it was dangerous or not, but the lack of light does change our perceptions of the world. If you had taken this shot in the daylight I bet it would suck ;) This way it's really beautiful and mysterious and well... compliments on you brave man, for being there.

This is a shadowy world, where people cover their heads in plastic and ride machines that make deafening noises in the dark. The characters here are anonymous and threatening. They are blocking our way, and I would not want to tell them to move aside. It may be a rite of passage to you, but to most of us, it is a dark and dangerous world you confront us with.

This is really interesting Kal.
I'm not sure I would have been daring enough to take this shot!
It's also very well done. Exposure is perfect. The image has a very good lighting.

great picture!!

In the valley of shadow secrets.Cast thickly nights among questionable rumbling crossroads. That may define a man or his time.Perhaps with certainty,or not.As one hand of midnight may well obscure the other in passing.Concealing a deed without witness.Except for the hovering halogen rumours that buzz inconspicuously and curiously from a harmless distance.

Good "night" photo!!

Nice timing. Your title makes me look a this in a whole different way. B&w is the right choice, but looks a little too dark, at least on my monitor. Anyway, great capture.

From a nation where motorcycles are the main mode of transport and I'm on and off them on a dialy basis, this is an unusual image. Motorcyclists on the whole tend to be solitary (unless carrying a passenger). This quiet night street scene has a feeling of companionship with the middle rider passing through but also a sinister air with the larger bikes surrounding the smaller and rider on the right mounting the curb.

Threaty Rider!;) A real trap... Sometimes, you can't avoid things on your road you'd prefer to...
