You might not want to hire me to do a color scheme for your formal living room. However, the Color Range tool in Photoshop can do a great job creating masks to use on Hue & Saturation layers to change colors. I also do not vouch for the total accuracy of the masks in this example. The model does not have pink makeup on her neck. This is a quick and dirty example of this technique.
