The Engineer Command Vietnam (Provisional)
was activated from December of 1966 to May of 1968.
The command was reactivated in 1970 and used an
entirely different insignia. The colors allude to
the Engineer Corps and to Vietnam. The first design
was never approved by the U.S. Army Institute of Heraldry.
