See my photo of the Col. Sink sign for why I came to Currahee mountain. In any case, this is the view from the top. If anyone has read Stephen Ambrose's book or seen the HBO presentation of "Band of Brothers", you know what happened here. I only want to mention that the grade of the hill is MUCH steeper than that which was filmed. Driving it is a challenge, let alone running it.
