Two and One-Half Years Later

West End - New Orleans

The once bustling end of West End Park looks like a ghost town. All of the seafood restaurants that sat on the water were totally washed away in the hurricane. No one even comes to this area anymore except photographers.
Below is a photo that I took in October, 2005--about six weeks after Katrina.

Do you have any pictures of West End pre-Katrina. I was smart (lucky) enough to have photographed the area in the suimmer of 2003. Compare the pictures. Orient yourself by matching up the trees.
