I Can't Pass Up a Good Sunset

Whether the day has been one filled with frustration and pain or one filled with accomplishment and great joy, the sunset always completes the day in utter peace.
I have been known to jump up in the middle of dinner and race to the Lake or the River to capture a sunset. Sometimes, what I see from my dining room window does not turn out to be the wonderful sunset I'd hoped for and sometimes it dips behind a cloud even before I get to the water.
And, sometimes the traffic is so tied up that I get to the water just a few seconds too late to get the full beauty of the sun.
But,the chase is always worth it.

Coleen, completely agree about the sunset wrapping up a day in peace. This one is gorgeous; love the masts. V

Another beautiful one !!!
I agree, we are fortunate to be able to see the sunrise and sunset going to and from "work". It is always a beautiful sight, but it's difficult to get good shots.

I for one, am really happy that you do make the effort to catch the sunsets. I never tire of them either, they are a real gift from God! Thank you for sharing them with us Coleen!
