Hanging in the Louisiana gallery in the Museum of Art in New Orleans is a painting by Knute Heldner, an oil painting done in the early 1900's, that looks just like this scene. I surely wish I could paint.
Knute Heldner was born in Sweden and moved to the United States. His latter years were spent in New Orleans where he painted some beautiful southern scenes known the world over.
Coleen Perilloux Landry retains the international copyright not only for the original image but also for any versions of it.
