Bucktown--Shades of Yesteryear

The footbridge over the 17th Street Canal connecting Bucktown and West End is now gone and all the fishing boats. The Corps of Engineers has now claimed this for their own.
This fishing village is at least 200 years old. It got its name Bucktown because it was an Indian trading village.
