Millions of dollars of boats were thrown ashore, washed away or battered in the Harbor at West End. The Southern Yatch Club, the second oldest in the United States, burned to the ground during Katrina. Most of the boats in the Yatch Club Harbor suffered major damage or were never seen again.
I keep asking why all the boats are still thrown all over the streets and the harbor but reality is that people have lost their houses, their jobs and have not gotten around to settling with the insurance companies.

Looks like the live oaks really took a beating at West End.
