Volunteers have been working feverishly clearing the debris and cleaning up the Botanical Garden. This particular area was designed a few years ago to coincide with an art exhibit at the Museum "Jefferson and Napoleon" to celebrate an anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase from France. This garden is similar to one at Thomas Jefferson's "Monticello."
In only five short weeks since the flood waters subsided the Iceberg roses are already blooming.
Obviously, the salt water did not hurt them.
