Our Cat, Abraham, Senses the Danger of the Approaching Hurricane Katrina

This is one of my favorite shots from that awful night and day. Abraham was so good through it all. As the hurricane bands moved in Abraham watched from the living room windowsill. Later, when danger was so near his eyes became big as saucers and I joined him and my other cat, Sadie, under my bed as the tornado sounds roared overhead.
