That's a huge attic. But why isn't it full of junk? :) Great shot and SP.

I love how she stands there in this empty room. I really like that light bulb there hanging from the midst of the ceiling, that just adds to an attic image I think. Great job.

Do you think Loretta would rent that out to me :)
Very melodramatic shot, I like it!
Guest 11-Mar-2005 23:30
A sense of wonder - what's she thinking?

Loretta's tomb is beyond that door ? Amazing shots both of these.

An original composition, great perspective and profound light effect. For that matter, it truly reminds me of some XVIIth century paintings.

some size attic!! look at all the head room, she could have 10 heads and still not bump them on the roof! :-o
David Clunas11-Mar-2005 16:54
Great shot Coleen, and what an attic
Guest 11-Mar-2005 16:42
Excellent!
I agree--what a great studio this would make.
JeremyGood11-Mar-2005 16:32
this picture shouts out "there's a story here" -- great job
purpod11-Mar-2005 16:27
Wow, what a great shot, Coleen! Such an empty feeling there, as it appears Loretta is hugging herself... Wonderful atmosphere here!
Leo Charette11-Mar-2005 16:17
I like this photo Coleen, so different from your other works. I like your scale and position in the frame; it creates a mood of isolation. The lone light dangling, the incomplete table and the high ceilings add to the starkness. I think this would also look wonderful on B&W. Excellent self portrait shot in fantastic light.
Guest 11-Mar-2005 15:54
What a cool space. Looks like a very nice potential studio. Nice lighting as well.
