The Wayne Gaupp Oak at Destrehan Plantation

Destrehan, Louisiana

This oak was named for the first president of the River Road Historical Society and her untiring efforts helped restore this house to its former glory. Mrs. Wayne Gaupp left this world in February, 2005 but her legacy will live on.
