Mama Swan Cuts a Path Through the Ice for Her Cygnets

Lafreniere Park - Metairie, Louisiana

It is most unusual to have a frozen pond in southeast Louisiana, especially for an entire week.
This morning the frost was very heavy and my car windows looked like they had snowflakes on them.

Yes!!! I had frost that looked like snowflakes too. I even tried to take a photo! LOL This is a very lovely scene, despite the ice. Love the babes!
