Built in the early 1800's nothing is known of the original owner. In 1848 John Murrell of Lynchburg, Virginia purchased the property and it has been kept in the Murrell family ever since.
It is a vast, productive plantation.
Coleen Perilloux Landry retains the international copyright not only for the original image but also for any versions of it.
