This view has really changed a lot!!!! The Bingo Parlor use to hang over the water here and was open air. We played with corn to cover our numbers then. Use to be a snack bar next to it and a pool hall behind that. There use to be a large Hotel and lots of cottages. There was even a bowling alley. I have been going there since1951. Still the best place in the state to bring small children. Dry county, so there is no drinking. Very quiet! Great place to relax.Last , but not least, The Womble family are very nice people.
