Lunchtime atop a skyscraper, Charles Ebbets (1932)

In the lobby of the Rockefeller Center is this photo of a group of steelworkers enjoying a pleasant lunch break during the building of the Rockefeller Center.
Nothing unusual there except of course they are on a steel girder suspended 69 stories above the city. This remains one of the most famous New York City photos.
The photo taken in 1932 has been finally attributed to Charles Ebbets after culminating research by the Bettman Archive in 2003.
It should be noted that other versions of this photo show a vertical steel cable between the two men on the right.
