Byodo-in, Temple

Built entirely without nails, it is a replica of an ancient Japanese Temple.
Located at the foot of the Koolau mountain range. It is a majestic sight with the Koolaus in the background.

Very nice! The temples here in Korea are also constructed without nails. The wooden pieces are either interlocking or held in place with wooden pegs. This method comes from times when Buddhism was being suppressed. If a temple was forced to relocated, the buildings were easily taken apart, moved, then put together again at the new location.
