| Here she is, the world's most beautiful airplane. Don't laugh - you would say that too if you had seen the things I saw and done the things I did in that plane. We flew the Lockheed WC-130 "Hercules" airplane (E and H models). They were not structually strengthened or otherwise modified for storm flying, except for the addition of an extra fuel tank in the cargo compartment. They also had some special weather instruments installed. |
