This is from my Africa gallery. I remember the morning well.
I had been on Safari already in Botswana for almost two weeks,
and we had not seen a single lion until this morning. This lion
was the first one I had ever seen in the wild. I couldn't believe
my luck that there were no other safari jeeps near-by, and the lion
cooperated by posing in the near perfect morning sun, and with a stare
that would go clean through you. I like this lion shot.
