Store Bought

Home, kitchen

Once upon a time, there was an Egg Fairy.
The Egg Fairy raised chickens, simply because he enjoyed it. This left the Egg Fairy with a large surplus of eggs which he would bring to his coworkers. That's how he became known as the Egg Fairy.
And because I am friends with one of his coworkers, the bounty often spread to me.
And it was good.
Then, one day, the Egg Fairy retired. He no longer saw his coworkers everyday. And the bounty and joy of eggs began to diminish.
And finally, instead of having fresh, wonderful eggs, I had to get eggs from the store.
And there was sadness.

Eggs come from fairies? I thought it was cows?!
Great shot!

Nothing better than fresh from the farm. I would get up in the morning on the farm and bring the eggs in from the chicken house and enjoy the cackle berries with fresh farm biscuits :-)

Dad used to raise hens for eggs - in my sister's bedroom...loved those eggs! and i also miss the egg fairy of the metroplex. There's nothing like fresh eggs.
