This is the inside ceiling of the octagonal Waxahachie Chautauqua Auditorium, built in 1902.
While working in a magic show in the late 1980s, I had the privilege of performing in this historic theatre.
Today, it was very dim inside and I didn't have a tripod. So I had to brace the camera on the back of a bench for this shot. Therefore, it's not as sharp as it could be.
