Angel Of Light

The Floyds', Dallas, Texas

This wasn't actually a planned shot. I was experimenting with a wireless trigger on the studio flashes and Miss Ainsley decided to help me. I hadn't adjusted anything on the lights, nor had I even paid attention to my camera settings. I was just firing off test shots to make sure I was actually able to trigger the flashes remotely. When I was done, this is what I found. I kinda liked it.

EDIT: A few years later, I managed to take some similar shots of Autumn.

People pay a fortune at some photo places for this kind of high key, quirky cropped portrait! I love it!
