A fire reported around 07:50 hrs. destroyed townhouses at 2601-2608 Cypress Ln in East Brunswick, NJ. A woman walking her dog noticed the building on fire and alerted the residents.Four units were destroyed by the fire and four units sustained water damage. All East Brunswick fire districts responded and mutual aid responded from surrounding communities. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the East Brunswick Bureau of Fire Pfrevention and the East Brunswick Police Department. Trans-Med Ambulance and Spotswood First Aid were also on scene, as well as the Office of Emergency Management.
