Unusual Female Mallard

Huntley Meadows Park

I found this female duck to be unusual and quite beautiful.
Later I found out that she is a female Mallard nicknamed "Blondie".
She returns to Huntley Meadows each year and often has difficulty finding a mate due to her unusual coloring.
This year she has found a mate (nicknamed "Dagwood") and she seems quite happy about it.
