Street lights

Not much rain today, but no sun either, just dull and overcast all day. Coupled with wednesday being my longest working day, I still had nothing in the camera as it went dark. On the way home, I decided to experiment so grabbed a couple of shots out of the windscreen. After a little trial and error to work out exposure, I settled on 3 sec @ f4.4 - iso 200. This nicely streaked the lights and exposed the fading light in the sky nicely, as well as the road surface. Apart from resizing to a more internet friendly size this is exactly as it was taken. I timed the shot to coincide with passing a road sign, which gave the lovely green streaks on the left. I love the way the 'slow' marking on the road has recorded as well.

Please leave a comment, as I am very interested in your opinions.
